Disability Income taxable?

Disability income was received from medical boarding from work for a few months in the tax year ending 2015. This income was taxed and the amount on the IRP5 shows only one income source code. 1. Is the disability income tax exempt or is it only from 2 March 2015 and 2. Is there a separate tax code for disability income earned.

Does there appear to be any PAYE taken off from this amount? Is there a number under the directive blocks on the right hand side of the IRP5.

Thanks Tim.Tax has been taken off this income and the entire amount is lumped as income earned under tax code 3601. Disability income was earned from October to February 2015 due to cancer.

Generally if you claimed a deduction when contributing to the policy then the income received on case of disability is taxable and so this is correct.
