Corrections on returns

Hi Tim

Can I get into trouble with SARS for a mistake on my return? Even if that mistake was an honest misunderstanding and I have submitted a correction.

Also, how many times can you submit corrections?

Thanks,
Elizabeth

You can make 2 corrections to your return before SARS does not allow you to so anymore. If you have made a genuine mistake, click "Request Correction" and resubmit your return with the corrected amounts.

Thanks :) And can I be penalised for mistakes, whether corrected or not?

You should not be if you correct them on the return within a day or two.
