Hi Tax Tim, My gross salary is R7625. PAYE of R866 was being deducted from my salary for the 2015 tax year. I am aware that more was being deducted than necessary. Please advise what should have been deducted and how this will affect my tax return?

That is considerably more than should be taken off. Why is your employer deducting so much? When you file your return you will receive a refund of the overpaid amounts. Register for TaxTim and let us help you through the process of filing your return.
