Since you worked for a part of the tax year, it might be that SARS in fact owes you some tax back. This is because you would have paid tax based on the assumption that you worked for the full 12 months of the year. It would be best to request your IRP5s from your past employers and then Register for TaxTim and let us assist you to complete and submit your tax return to SARS. Tax filing season opens tomorrow, 1 July! |
