Audit income tax but unemployed

I used to be employed, but from 02/2014 to now I am not. I submitted a nil tax return and have now been selected for audit. They are asking for documents.

What can I send them when I said I was unemployed and I did not claim anything. Do they go into my bank account without me knowing or should I email them bank statements? There are deposits in my bank but that is just transfers from my various accounts. No income. Please help. Thank you for the great site.

You need to send them a letter stating you were unemployed for that period, a sworn affidavit at the police station would be even better if you are able to provide that.
