Following my Divorce my exhusband was ordered by the court to pay me a monthly maintenance fee going forward. Is this maintenance money taxable in my hands?

The maintenance fee is fortunately not taxable in your hands. You do however have to declare it on your tax return under the section called non-taxable income, and just state that its maintenance from your divorce decree.
