Why did they double tax me?

I received an increase of 50% on my salary in January, but the tax on my salary seems to have more than doubled, can you tell me why this is?

It is best that you query this with your payroll department, as they should be able to explain to you what the rate of tax is on your new increased salary.
Kindly refer to our tax calculator to calculate if the amount they deducted was indeed correct.
