What does SOA mean from SARS?

I submitted ny tax on 1st July I immediately got my ITA34 stating amount due to me and selected for audit. I then got letter to require docs. I submitted this all on 1st. Then on 2nd got a SOA. With amount due. What does this mean. It just gives amount. Does this mean audit is done?

You need to wait until you receive a completion letter from SARS showing if any changes have been made to your assessment. The SOA is a statement of account reflecting the balance owing.
