What do I do if I can't upload all my documents on eFiling? It says I have reached my limit.

I submitted my return a week ago, and I do not have a medical aid, but did keep all my receipts for medical expenses. They asked me to supply the supporting documents which I did, but it was about 30 pages of receipts first I uploaded the 20 pages and then they told me that I cant upload more than 20 at a time, then in order for me to upload the rest of the 10 I made a dispute NOO document and attached a letter explaining the reason and than I uploaded the rest. I am afraid that I have done the wrong thing.

You haven't done anything wrong exactly, SARS will take the letter you sent into account when determining the audit.

How long does this process usually take?

It could be anywhere from a few days up to a few months, unfortunately once you are in this stage of the process it is a waiting game and you would need to be patient.
