Revolt says: 8 October 2015 at 9:19 I have received an email from SARS saying my income tax has been identified for verification and I must submit my supporting documents on my SARS eFiling. What are those supporting documents that I need to submit, if I don't have invoices,medical certificate or travel book. Is it the IRP5 still a supporting document? |

TaxTim says: 8 October 2015 at 15:40 Yes, if you earn a salary and claim no medical aid or travel expenditure or earn any other income, the only support would be the IRP5. If you earn any investment income (eg interest or dividends) you would need to also submit the relevant tax certificate from the bank - IT3(b). |
