What are tax implications when dates are incorrect on the IRP5

What difference does it make to my tax liability when the dates on the IRP5 are incorrect and it appears that I worked for two employers for a period of 5 months, when in fact I worked for one employer.

It should not make a difference as your tax is calculated on your overall income earned and not based on the periods worked.
