Updating banking details with SARS?

I registered for a SARS tax number years ago when I did some part time work whilst at school. Since then I have changed my bank account but I haven't notified SARS as I have been studying, not working. I have recently taken on a part time teaching job (they pay my tax for me) and I have realised I need to update my banking details with SARS. Will I be liable for a fine for not updating my details at the time of changing my account? And how do I go about updating my banking details with SARS?

No you won't be liable for a fine, but it is best to do it as soon as possible.

You need to go to a SARS branch with the following:

3 Months Latest Bank Statement - original and signed by the bank
Latest utility bill - proof of address
ID book.
