Understanding additional income and costs on the TaxTim process?

Were you involved in any activities that resulted in local royalty profit or loss?

the meaning of this question is unclear

does it relate to the additional income defined in the previous question? is it separate items royalty, profit, loss? if I make some ad hoc additional income writing does it come in here?

This is purely related to royalty income. So the Question is asking, did you make a loss or a profit from royalties?
