Travel allowance

I have a travel allowance and I am submitting prior years (2012, 2013) and I am under the Threshold R250000. If I do not claim the travel allowance will they forgive the penalty for non submission?

Do you have a penalty for non-submission now?

I have not submitted yet and don't know where to find it.

I only have my 2011 ITA34 on eFiling. I want to submit 2012,13 and 14. I just want to know that when I submit I can choose not to claim travel allowance. I do not use a travel allowance will they still impose penalties on me?

If you have not received any penalties now then you won't have any. The under R250 000 is only if you only have a salary, you have an allowance so you had to submit anyway. It is best to claim the travel allowance so you can get some money back.

One more question if you dont mind. I submitted my returns and have received my ITA34 for all 3 years and I'm getting money back :). But I have to verify my banking details. I have gotten everything together. How long does SARS take after Ive verified my details to pay me my money?

They say 48 hours, but it has been 21 days in some instances! SARS are not consistent I am afraid.
