I have tax returned to RSA in April 2016 and receive pensions -paid in UK, how are these taxed now I am a returning resident?

Did you work in South Africa at any time related to this pensions or is this only a pension from when you worked overseas?

the pensions are 1] astate pension from UK AND 2] a workforce/SIPP - a self invested private pension.
Both of these pensions are from work which was done solely overseas and were funded by monies generated entirely from this overseas work

They will be exempt from tax in South Africa.
