SARS has required that I complete PAYE recons and IRP5's on e filing for 2006 tax year. Where can I get tax tables for PAYE for 2006 tax year which show PAYE and site split

You will be able to find these on the SARS website, search for PAYE tables 2006 and they will come up in the search box.

Thanks so much.

I tried looking on the SARS website but it didn't seem to allow me to go back to 2006.
(that could be more of an operator problem as I am not that familiar with the SARS website etc.)

Try using the rates for 2006 and then dividing by 12 for the PAYE per month.

Tax rates for the year of assessment ending 28 February 2006 (2006 Year of Assessment):
Taxable Income (Rand) Rates of Tax
0 - 80 000 18% of each R1
80 001 - 130 000 14
400 + 25% of the amount above 80 000
130 001 - 180 000 26
900 + 30% of the amount above 130 000
180 001 - 230 000 41
900 + 35% of the amount above 180 000
230 001 - 300 000 59
400 + 38% of the amount above 230 000
300 001 and above 86
000 + 40% of the amount above 300 000
Rebates

Tax thresholds
