After filing my tax online they told me that I will receive a payment of R9000 and that I will receive an sms to confirm payment and that payments will be made in 2 to 3 days. . . Its now 30 July. . . . . Three days later and yet I've not received any sms or payment yet. . . What should I do now? |

TaxTim says: 30 July 2015 at 21:37 There seem to be many cases this year where SARS is taking longer than expected to refund taxpayers. You might need to be a little more patient; 2-3 days is not that long yet. If you have not received your refund by the middle of next week you could call SARS on 0800 007 277 to follow up. They may need to verify your bank details or you may not be up to date with prior year tax returns (although it seems odd they didn't tell you this when you were at SARS if this were the case). |
