Should employers still provide paper copies of employee IRP5's?

Is it normal to no longer receive a physical copy of your IRP5? For the last few years, I have not received the usual paper copy, but just logged on to eFiling and my IRP information was already filled in on my personal income tax return form. I've just submitted my tax return and shortly after received a notification that I was selected for verification and must submit all documents. Only problem is, I don't have a copy of my IRP5.

You employer must give you a physical or electronic copy (an email or PDF) to submit to SARS. It is your legal right to demand it.
