SARS wants IRP5 from 2009, I don't have it.

Hi, after filing my tax return for 2015 SARS said I need to submit IRP5 for 2009. Last year it wasn't a problem as they paid out, but this year it is. I contacted my employer of that time and they don't have these records anymore. What do I do now? There is no way to get it.

You will need to go to the police and get a sworn affidavit stating that it is impossible to obtain your IRP5 and the reasons why. You can then submit this affidavit to SARS who should hopefully accept it.
