SARS online scam?

I get these messages via e mail on a regular basis and is obviously a scam. Is this not illegal?
I thought I wanted to warn others.

We have confirmed your tax returns and made a credit of R4,924. 95 into your account. Please follow the reference below to confirm epayment. Check for confirmation

That is a very much a scam - the wording is wrong and SARS would never communicate like this. Please ignore the email and warn friends and family to avoid it.
