My wife and I own a property which she rents out. The rent gets paid into her bank account and she is the only one who earns the income from the rent. The property is registered in both our names and we are married ANC. Am I supposed to be a provisional taxpayer and liable for provisional tax ?

If the property is owned by both of you then regardless of who receives the actual cash the income should be split between the two of you. If the net income, the profit, from the rent is more than R20 000 per annum then yes you would need to register as a provisional taxpayer.
