Offshore 60 day trip

I am South African and I work offshore. I know I have to work 183 days offshore in total, with 60 of these being continuous. Would a 60 day trip that falls over February and March 2016 be applicable for the 2016 tax year, or do I have to do another 60 day trip to be tax exempt?

The Act speaks of a 12 month period with 183 days outside of South Africa and 60 continuous days in this period.
The 60 days over February and March should be sufficient to exempt your income for the purposes of S10(1)(0)

However do work through the questions in the link to make sure your foreign income does qualify for this exemption.
Can I claim a portion of my foreign income as exempt?
