No IRP5 information for 2010

After submitting my 2015 tax return and not getting any feedback from SARS, I called the call centre. They told me that my assessment is on hold until I submit my 2010 tax return. The problem with that is the company I worked for at that time liquidated in April of 2010 and did not submit their EMP501, thus no IRP5s were issued. There is no data in the 2010 tax return. How do I go about filing the tax return? I don't not have all the payslips for that period either.

You would need to go to a police station and swear an affidavit stating all this and take that to SARS for your 2010 tax return.
