My wife earns 35% commission (salary) per month ,how does her employer calculate her PAYE?



My wife does not earn a salary but earn 35 % commission on all work done. She generally earns more
than R10 000 per month. How does her employer calculate her PAYE?Can one use the calculator on

Yes you can use the calculator, else she must apply for a tax directive from SARS to ensure the company only takes off 18% per month as PAYE. Any over or underpayment of tax will be sorted out when she submits her return to SARS.
