Minimum asset write off for depreciation?

What is the amount per asset that you can immediately wright of for example if an asset cost less than R7000 you can depreciate it to R1 immediately to pay less tax?

Yes, correct - any single asset costing less than R7,000 (which is not purchased as part of a group of assets) can be written-off immediately in the year of purchase.
