Medical aid expenses on behalf of husband

Can I claim for medical aid contributions that I make on behalf of my husband? The money comes from my account as a debit order every month.

Yes you can, as you are the one paying the amount. Have the medical aid company address the income tax certificate to you though, and on your return make sure the number of dependents reflects your husband and you (two dependents), if you make a payment for yourself as well that is.
