Why do I get less tax refund in return this year as what I did last year?

Has your income for the year changed and the amounts that you filled out on your tax return compared to the year before? There are a number of reasons that your return is less than last year and we can only figure out why you yours is different based on what you have done differently. Also some tax rules have changed, which will affect the calculations that SARS does on their side.
