Does a provisional tax payer receive an IT34 notice or is this notice only applicable to personal income tax payers?

An ITA34 will be received when a final tax return ITR12 is submitted regardless of whether you are a provisional taxpayer or not. This is because provisional taxpayers need to submit an ITR12 (like regular taxpayers do) in addition to their bi-annual IRP6s.
