IRP5 not applicable but SARS keeps asking to rectify?

My salary earned is outside SA, I reside outside SA for the past 13 years.
After completing the questions the system requests IRP5 which I do not receive.
Please advise

Why are you trying to submit a tax return in South Africa - do you earn any income here?

No.
For the past 12 years a tax consultant submitted my returns. He has now ventured into a new business and no longer does tax consulting.
Reason was for me to remain tax compliant as I have a bank account to where I send money to pay expenses.
Please advise if return is still required.

After 13 years you do not need to submit a return anymore, but agreed staying compliant is good. All you need to do though is to log onto eFiling and click that you did not earn any income etc and then submit. Our tax director can do this personally for you if you wish to mail him at marc@taxtim.com
