I did not receive my Medical Aid Contribution Certificate, what can I do?

Would I be able to claim medical aid contributions if I don't have a medical aid tax certificate?
The medical aid no longer exists, and I have been unable to obtain a copy from them.

You would yes, but SARS may ask for proof so you would need to demonstrate this somehow in the form of bank statements and a letter explaining the reasons as to why you do not have a medical aid certificate.
