I am 64 years old, what is the taxable threshhold for a tax year?

How much money can I earn in a year before I will be taxed by SARS?

The tax threshold for under 65 for the 2013 tax year of assessment is R63 556. Any amounts over that to R160 000 will be taxed at 18%
