How long does it take to get a refund after I receive an assessment statement after an audit?

I filed my return for 2014 and was due for a refund, then my statement showed an outstanding return for 2007,which I had initially filed in 2008 but it appeared there was a technical error. I then called SARS and e-mailed the error message to them and they fixed the problem and issued a revised return which I then filed on the 13th of August 2014(using the self help option with a consultant from SARS. The 2007 statement also showed that I was due for a refund but I was selected for an audit for that one,so I submitted the required document(IRP5) on the same day 13th of August 2014. They then issued an assessment statement on the 18th of August 2014 which showed the total refund due from both returns (a negative amount of /-R3000. They then again issued another assessment statement on the 25th of August 2014 with the same information as the one issued on the 18th but still no refund. What could be the problem/approximately how long will it take to get the refund?

Due to the old returns being filed, this refund needs to be released. Please phone SARS and ask them to escalate this or if there is another issue such as you needing to verify your banking details.
