How long does it take for my tax refund to be paid into my account when submitted through e filling?

If SARS don't request you to submit supporting documentation then the refund would be paid within 48hrs usually. If they request additional information then the process can be anywhere from 3 days to 9 months depending on the complications, but usually within 21 working days.
