How do SARS refund tax?

I want to know if is possible to be refunded tax I have had to pay.

You will be refunded only if the tax you pay every month on the income earned is more than you are actually supposed to pay for the year. This can happen if you have deductions such as medical aid contributions which your employer does not know about and you pay privately.
