I registered a private company and got my tax clearance done around this time last year and for the past 12 months the company has not made any income. How do I go about renewing my company's tax clearance and is it possible to do it online?

Who applied for the TCC last year? Who manages the taxes of the company?

A company registration organisation applied for tax clearance last year on my behalf, along with the company's registration. The company has no employees at the moment so I manage everything.

Have you submitted all the tax returns to ensure you are fully compliant with SARS? You can apply for a TCC on SARS eFiling under the Services Tab.

No I haven't. I was under the impression that companies that don't earn an income for 12 months don't need to file tax returns for that financial year.

You still need to file a nil tax return regardless of your income level.
