I currently earn a salary and pay PAYE tax. I also take on occasional freelance work which isn't consistent amounts. What's the best way to be tax compliant?

You would need to register as a provisional taxpayer and pay tax twice a year on this income.
Please read our blog on What is Provisional Tax? How and when?
Am I a Provisional taxpayer?

Please let TaxTim assist you with your provisional tax return and tax return filings.
