Freelance Income from International Clients on ITR12?

I have a international client that pays me monthly but they cannot supply me with an IRP5 since they not based in SA. How do I go about paying my tax?

You would need to include the income in the "foreign income" section of the return and translate the income using SARS average exchange rate or the actual amounts received as cash in RANDS into your account. You can deduct your business expenses against this.

You would also have to register as a Provisional Taxpayer and submit 2 provisional returns a year.
