Fines Payable on Audit discrepancies?

I am getting audited - if they pick up a discrepancy is there a fine I will have to pay? I am not a tax expert and is worried that I made a mistake.

If you made a genuine mistake and SARS penalise you then you will be able to admit fault and SARS will reverse the penalty.
