Does a letter from SARS "Verification of assessment" mean that my tax return is completed?

I've submitted supporting documents to SARS as requested, and received a letter with the heading Verification of Assessment. Does this letter mean that my return is completed and I will receive the refund due to me?

What this means is that you have been randomly selected to submit all your supporting documents to SARS to double check that everything matches. There is nothing to be worried about, they just want to confirm all the details. Go back to your Income Tax Working Page and click on the "documents for review" and then upload all your supporting documents such as IRP5 and medical aid certificates" They will send a letter confirming the outcome of the verification which should all be ok and payment will be made a few days after that.
