DO I NEED TO PUT MY FULL NAME AND SURNAME DOWN ON THE TAXTIM WEBSITE?

DO I HAVE TO FILL IN MY FULLNAMES AND SURNAME?

There are two parts to the process:

1. TaxTim completes the difficult parts of your tax return for you.

2. You copy those parts into your tax return (on SARS eFiling or a paper ITR12 income tax return form), and enter in any missing information, such as your full name and surname, banking details etc.

The tax return displayed on the TaxTim website is only a template for display - not a form that you can click on to fill in. You need to use the information displayed and copy it over to your actual tax return (the one you will submit) on eFiling / paper.

We hope to have a one-click automatic submission to SARS service operating soon, but not just yet.
