If the practitioner is using SARS eFiling then they will be due by 27 November. If you get posted the tax returns in the post then the deadline is 30 September.

Thanks so much.
Last question: what if the tax practitioner fails to submit before the deadline, what recourse do I have to reduce the complications of being imposed with tax penalty?

You could, if you receive a penalty, apply for it to be quashed by SARS by proving to them you gave the practitioner the information at the right time.

Wow, you have convinced me enough! I will apply to submit my tax affairs next year once my last correspondence with my tax practitioner is over for this year. Provided that I am deaf, I see that the assistance is purely in a simple language and easy for anyone to understand. We need people like you - the Virtual Tims!

Thanks for the support! That is exactly what we are trying to do - our service is for the taxpayer and to make things as simple as possible!
