I received a Completion letter from SARS as below, what should I do next?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
VERIFICATION OF ASSESSMENT

We refer to the verification of your assessment for the 2015 tax period. Please note that no adjustment has been made to this assessment. However, in terms of the Tax Administration Act the South African Revenue Service reserves the right to conduct further reviews in future if required. Should you have any queries please call the SARS Contact Centre on 0800 00 SARS (7277). Remember to have your ID number or income tax number at hand when you call to enable us to assist you promptly. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After efiling I have received a document saying,
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Thank you for submitting your income tax return for the 2015 year of assessment. Your assessment has been concluded and reflects an amount refundable to you of R -8581. 45
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Am I still eligible for the amount?

Yes, your assessment has remained unchanged so SARS should still pay you this refund in a few days.

If you do not receive it in a few days, you can call the SARS Helpdesk on 0800 007 277 to find out reasons for the delay.
It may be that you have prior year tax returns outstanding, or that you need to update your bank details with them.

Thank you very much for the reply.
One more query, how can I verify whether banking details are proper in SARS. I had submitted documents along with my application for tax ref number on last December.

If you needed to supply SARS with further documents to verify your bank details, they would have sent you a letter requesting this.
So now you just need to wait, or call SARS Helpdesk to follow up.
