Can PAYE be deducted if on commission only and can I invoice the company contracting me ?

I'm a consultant and earned only 5% on commission. The company pays me a retainer of R10K per month. Can they deduct PAYE per month ( 5 month contract only)? if so, of how many %? Can I bill them in my personal capacity or from my CC? what would the tax implication be?

They can deduct the PAYE and in many cases if your are not permanent they will deduct 25%, however at that value the true bracket is 18%. You can request them to only deduct 18%, if they apply with SARS to do so.You can bill them either in your personal capacity or via the CC, but given that income level it would make more sense to do it in your personal capacity.
