Can my mom claim if she pays for medical, but not tax registered?

My mom is older than 65, she gets a pension of about R5500 monthly. She belongs to a medical aid that subtracts roughly 1850 a month. She is not registered for tax (I registered her on efiling, but SARS then removed her after we went to them. They said she dont need to be registered.). Seeing that she earns around R66 000 per year and the medical aid contributions are ± R22 000 yearly, and she has some out of pocket medical expenses as well, can she at all claim anything for the medical?

As your mother earns below the income tax theshold she isn't paying any income tax and therefore has nothing to claim the medical aid expenses against unfortunately. So she won't be able to claim anything in these circumstances.
