Will you please assist me, me and my husband and kids are on a different medical aid plan, but we pay everything together. Can he use my medical aid slips that he paid for to do his tax return?

Your assistance will be much appreciated

Are you earning income and submitting your own tax return?

yes I earn my income and do my own tax return.

if my husband claim the medical out of pocket exspenses I wont claim it on my side.

Whether you claim it or your husband claims it, the tax benefit will be exactly the same.
Therefore it would be better for you to claim your own out of pocket expenses with your medical aid contributions to avoid having to clarify this to SARS should they require supporting documentation.
