Can I claim retirement annuity in wife's name?

My wife is not working. She used to work but resigned in 2007. I kept on paying her retirement annuity policy. Can I claim it from SARS???

Is the annuity in her name?

Yes the annuity is in her name I am the sole beneficary.

Unfortunately you will not be able to claim this - it will be tough to prove to SARS as it is in her name.
