Can I claim for my hospital plan contributions?

If I have a hospital plan that I personally contribute to - no contributions from my employer. Would this contributions be considered a 'medical aid' contribution?

Yes that would be considered as a contribution to medical aid for the purposes of claiming the tax rebate.
