Benefit of Medical Tax credit for foreign medical policies ?

I am a foreign national, working in South Africa on basis of a work permit. I am paying medical insurance premium in my home country. Can I take the benefit of medical tax credit ?

Do you not pay tax or get the credit in your home country?

I am eligible to take tax credit in my home country. but as I do not have any income in my home country and I am working in South Africa, earning here, I want to avail the tax credit in South Africa. Can I claim the medical tax credit ?

If you pay tax in SA you are allowed to use your foreign medical aid as a deduction if that enables you to use the medical aid here in SA.
