As a provisional tax payer being self employed, may I claim for office space in my home and travel? If so, what is the fair amount?

Yes you may, you must claim only the amount spent on business so you need to work out what expenses were business and what were personal and then apportion them. For rental, you can work out the size of your office as a portion of your home and use that proportion against your rental.
