Are Medical Insurance - Tax benefits?



Please advise if you can claim tax benefits for paying Medical Insurance instead of Medical Aid. An example Oneplan insurance.

Only if the medical insurance is a registered medical scheme in terms of section 24(1) of the Medical Schemes Act will the contributions be allowed.
